Anna and Roger. We are a young couple who decided to make a step forward after years working in hotel sector. We are not alone in this adventure, our Dalmatian and Labrador best friends take care of the house and the chicken when we are away.
Our country house is open to people looking for new experiences at the countryside without giving up comforts. Whether you are looking for adventure, fun, meeting with nature or just relax with your family and friends, La Casa del Molí will fulfill your expectations. Inside the house you will feel embraced by a charming atmosphere.
La Casa del Molí is an ancient millhouse built in 1825. The country house is surrounded by a quite forest where some animals like wild pigs, foxes, frogs, owls, ducks, etc. can be spotted. In addition it is only 3km away from the villages of Pontons and Torrelles de Foix, where guests can find everything for they daily needs.
A bunch of activities can be done in the area to keep your spirit up. Following a list of the most interesting ones is provided:
-Horse-riding at el Ranxo de Pontons
-Visit Làctics Foix, the caw farm.
-Trekking: Sant Salvador de la Balma shrine, Sant Joan de la Muntanya shrine, dry-stone house, River Foix gorges, les Dous fountains,etc.
-Enduro routes
-Mountain bike routes
-Visit and appetizer in exquisite wineries and cellars in the region: Parés Baltà, Mas Bertran, Colet, Torres…
Last but not least, bear in mind you’re just 50 minutes drive from Barcelona city and 30 minutes drive from Vilanova I la Geltrú and Sitges beaches.
